We're scheming today, here's a list for you to cover if you haven't already:
Project 1 – TO DO LIST

·         Home Page – at least 2 paragraphs that define your place in the herd/who you are

o   Here are some driving questions that will assist you in writing the home page:

1)      What does your name mean to you? How did you receive your name? (Use imagery here)

2)      Where are you from? How much of that defines who you are as a person?

3)      Who do you live with? Do you want to change this?

4)      What is your family like? Siblings? Grandparents?

5)      What are your hobbies? Sports?

6)      What are your favorite movies, musicians, books, games?

7)      How do you want others to view you?

8)      What kind of difference do you want to make in the world? How?

9)      What is your future career? Why?

10)   What makes you unique? Any specialties? Anything odd about you?

11)   What’s your personal motto? Favorite Quote? Why?

12)   Who’s your hero? Why?

13)   What are your academic strengths and weaknesses?

14)   What’s your zodiac sign? Does that influence you?

15)   What are the “high points” of your life? “Low points?” How has this influenced you today?

16)   How do you want to leave your mark in CDAT? At Lanier?

·         Work towards completing the “Function Family Album”

o   Each page in your family album should depict and define a family of functions (6 pages total).  Each page should also include each graph that fits into that family.  Click here to see an example of a page for the Function Family Album for project 1. The example is also in the attachements of project 1.

o   The graphs are posted in the attachments at the bottom of Project 1 page

o   Remember that two of the graphs  must be added to your website and have a description of how it relates to a particular time in your life

·         Take the Fitnessgram Survey found on the Project 1 Outline page

·         Develop a P.E. section for your website that includes goals and objectives for improvement this semester in the following:

o   Cardiovascular Endurance

o   Muscular Strength/Endurance

o   Flexibility

o   Body Composition

·         Develop the AKS portion of your website: select the AKS that you have covered and give a brief description of how you have shown that AKS in your project

o   Make it organized!  Make a two column chart that has the AKS (copy and pasted in) on one side and a description on the other.

·         If you have time remaining, make a new Google Site that will become your portfolio site for the year.

·         If you have even more time remaining, take the Learning Styles quiz at this link:  Be sure to write down your numbers/answers.

·         If you don’t know how to do something, move onto something else!
